Arkansas River Coalition Twilight River Float - Thursday, June 25, 2020
It's time to open up the river with a group float where we can keep some distance from each other but enjoy the community of paddlers and the openness on the river.

REQUIRED: A signed 'Waiver and Release of Liability' form is required of each participating paddler, even if you have your own boat. Please download the release form from our website, ArkRiverCoalition.org, and complete before arriving. All paddlers are required to wear a PFD while on the water.

..... Only 8 loaner kayaks will be available for persons wanting to use ARC equipment.
..... A maximum of 24 total paddlers will be allowed to participate in this river float.
..... Paddlers will be responsible for arranging their own vehicle shuttle between launch-landing points.

This river float will be on the Little Arkansas River starting at the N. Woodland Park and ending at the South Riverside Park. We will meet at 5:30 p.m. , Thursday, June 25th, at the launch ramp located at the southeast corner of the N. Woodland Park (near 20th and N. Shelton Street).
We will launch our boats by 6:00 p.m. and paddle the scenic, winding route of the Little Arkansas River past North High, under the Minisa Bridge, around Mead Island, and by scenic homes and parks along the river. Our landing site will be at the floating dock next to the Wulf Tennis Courts at S. Riverside Park.
SAFETY ISSUES: Participants must wear PFDs (body floatation gear). Also bring drinking water, bug repellent, sun screen and other items as needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable river float.
COST: There is no cost for joining our floats which are made possible by voluntary, tax deductible, donations from friends, supporters and participants like you- $15 donation suggested when using ARC supplied equipment. Please make donation checks payable to The Arkansas River Coalition Inc. When giving a cash donation, write the amount of your donation on the back of your Waiver of Liability form if you wish to receive a receipt. All cash donations not so identified will be recorded as anonymous.
